She did really well! It was fun to chew on at least. She had water dripping down her chin, so she at least managed to get some out. Who knows if she actually swallowed any.

I failed to mention a few other milestones in Caroline's six month blog. She's sitting up! If we put her down in a sitting position, she stays there. She'll fall over every once in a while, but she really does great. She got to sit in the seat part of the shopping cart for the first time today. Yay! Her infant carrier is getting soooo heavy. She has also been napping really well. We decided a week and a half ago that it was time to try putting both kids down for their afternoon naps at the same time. She was napping in the pack-n-play in the office for her afternoon nap and wouldn't sleep more than 45 minutes. This was really frustrating me, so I thought that being in her crib might help her sleep better. I was pretty nervous about her waking up at 45 minutes and in the process waking up Garrison (who usually sleeps for 2-3 hours) and then I would have two grumpy kids on my hands for the rest of the afternoon. But, lo and behold, she slept for three hours the first afternoon that we put her in the crib! And it's been that way ever since. YAY!
So now her schedule goes something like this:
6:45- She sounds the alarm for all of us to wake up!
7:00- Cereal for breakfast, then nurse
9:00- Morning nap
10:15- She's waking up!
11:30- Fruit for lunch, then nurse
1:00- Afternoon nap
4:00- Nurse
6:30- Veggie for dinner
7:00- Bath time with Daddy!
7:30- Nurse
8:00- Story time/bed time routine with Daddy and Garrison
8:30- Lights out!
I love that her eating/napping schedules mesh with all of ours now, so we all get to eat together and play together. She's growing up! *tear*
